Friday 11th April 2008

Today I helped out by making my brother afternoon tea. He was really hungry and my mum was out at the time so I cut up some apples for him and he sat down quietly and ate his apples. I know I made a difference because my brother said thank yuo so much and gave me a hug. I felf happy that I could help out around the house without being asked or getting anything in return.

My Blog Reflection

Thursday 10th April 2008

Today at lunchtime when I was walking around with my friend Eden there was this big sandwich bag flying through the air, so I picked it up and put it into the rubbish bin. I know I made a difference because if I didn't pick up the plastic bag then it would have floated all around the school and I have seen that not many people pick up rubbish that is lying on the ground. I felt glad that I could help the enviroment be a fresh, clean place where people like to be.

Today I helped out by tidying the Food and Fabric room. Even though it was my day the room would not have been clean without my buddy Bridget and I cleaning the room. I know I made a difference because when the next lesson was about to start the room was nice and tidy. I felt glad that I could help out. But yet again that is why they have jobs around the school.

Tuesday 8th April 2008

Today I made a difference by cleaning the kitchen, unloading the dishwasher, sweeping and moping the floors. I know I made a difference because my mum gave me a big hug and thanked me after. I felt happy that I could help my fabulous mum out.

Today I leant a hand by helping the teacher out. We did the beep test today and the teacher was recording out levels. She was also trying to watch everyone run so I offered to record the levels for her. I know I made a difference because she said thank you to me. I felt glad that I could was able to do a job for the teacher.
