Tuesday 1st April 2008

Today I helped my sister get her pillows. She is now on crutches so she can't do everything. I know I made a difference because she thanked me. I felt happy knowing that I could help my sister out. Hopefully I could lend her a hand again later on or get something for her.I know what it is like to be on crutches and everyone thinks they are really fun but when it actually comes to having them it is no fun at all, so now I know that it is hard for my sister to get around to places etc.

Today I leant a hand by teaching my friend Cheyenne a dancing/gymnastics move that she did not know how to do. I know this helped because Cheyenne said thank you to me. I felt happy knowing that someone wanted my advise on dancing/gymnastics when I am really not the best dancer/gymnast. I know that I made a difference because Cheyenne can do them very well.

Today I helped my mum out by emptying the dishwasher. I know this helped her because we were out all night and we were all very tired so I offered to do it. No one likes to do the dishwasher but because my mum was really tired I decided to lend a hend. I felt happy after because I knew that my mum appreciated it because after she said thank you.

Please keep updated on my blog enteries.
Thank you

Saturday 29th March 2008

Today I helped my mum open my Aunt's and Uncle's gate. They have a huge driveway, so how ever does the gate has to run up it. No one offered to do it so I stepped in and offered. When my mum got down to the bottom of the driveway I shut the gate after her and then ran up. I know this helped my mum because it is an annoying job to have to keep on hopping out of the car to shut the gate. In the end my mum said thank you and gave me a hug as she went.

Today I performed my second act of kindness by helping Ayat and Thomas with their Blogger. I felt glad that I could help. I know that they needed help because the asked for help so I gave up my Blogger time to help them. I could see in their faces that they were a bit stressed and confused on what they were meant to do. I know that they appreciated it because they both came up to me and said thank you. After that I said to them whenever they need help to come to me because I will always be there to support them.

So now you have heard my second day of our class project. Remember to keep updated with my blog.

Thursday 27th March 2008

Today I performed my first act of kindness. Today at school Cindy C was having trouble carrying the laptops, so I went up to her and asked if she needed help. In the end we both ended up carrying the laptops back into the pod and then I went to get the key for her. I think I made a difference by helping her out(lending a hand). The Team C laptops are really heavy and not many people can carry them without another person there to help. After we put the laptops away I felt happy that I had stopped my work to help someone.

Please keep updated on my reflections each day.

Thank you
